We want to have IMPACT- so the right things get done. We want to give INFORMATION- to tell our member what is happening. We want INNOVATION- to do things better.
What are Service Providers?
EASPD represents Service Providers for Persons with Disabilities. Service Providers are organisations. Their job is to help people with disabilities and to help them the way they want.
EASPD and the European Union
The European Union is very important for everybody in Europe.
The European Union is a group of European countries
working together to give a better life to the people living in Europe.
We use “EU” as short for “European Union”.
The EU writes laws and takes important decisions.
The work of the EU creates changes
in the lives of people living in Europe.
EASPD talks to the people of the EU to make sure they do not forget service providers for persons with disabilities.
EASPD proposes the EU new laws.
These new laws will make the lives of disabled people better.
For example, EASPD worked with the EU on a new law
against discrimination.
